Understanding the Tides

Morocco's coastline is heavily influenced by tides, which can dramatically change the quality and accessibility of surf spots. Many point breaks work best on a lower tide, while beach breaks can be better at mid to high tide. We always plan our sessions around the optimal tide for each spot. For up-to-the-minute forecasts, we recommend checking dedicated surf apps like MagicSeaweed (MSW) or Surfline.
